What is Connections

Connections is a North Island Secondary School derived, one of a kind program. With the lack of knowledge of the job oppurtunities on the North Island most students leave for school to never return. Connections aims to bridge the gap of the unknown and opportunities, showing students that there really is something for them here. With so many trips planned monthly theres never a lack of oppurtunity, not to mention the ability to have a trip suited to what they are interested in. This is also a chance for potential employers to meet potential employees as well as promote their business to the youth. Never before has there been a program of this type in our community, or have our students actually gotten to know more about their homes.
